Since 2010 The Aloha Shriners have hosted The Shriners Oktoberfest at Gordon Biersch Aloha Tower. The proceeds and donations of The Shriners Oktoberfest benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Child in Honolulu, HI. Below are a few pictures highlighting this years festival.

Moslem Temple (Detroit, MI) Visits Hawaii

The Moslem Shriners headed by Potentate Bob Lee and Lady Candice with guests (totaling 54), enjoyed a tour of the Shriners Hospital on the 12th of February. Ill.Thomas Santiago hosted a BBQ the following day at the Shriners Waimanalo Beach Club, serving hamburgers and hot dogs, with all the trimmings..Potentate Bob Lee and friends were enjoying themselves so much that they asked if it was possible to stay a hour longer. As always Ill. Thomas Santiago was happy to oblige.

During the week of February 5th, Ill. Terry Derby, Chief Rabban Fred Collins and Ill. Thomas Santiago flew to Kauai to install the Kauai Shrine Club Officers. Congratulations to Stanton Pa (President) and his officers! Kauai Shrine Club donated $4,000 dollars to the Transportation Fund. (Again, we thank you Kauai Shrine Club for your generous donation.)

On the 29th of January, Ill. Richard Cho, Chief Rabban Fred Collins, Oriental Guide Tony Ligaya and Ill.Thomas Santiago flew to Maui to install the Maui Shrine Club Officers. Congratulations to Paul Ratterman (President) and his officers. The Maui Shrine Club donated $18,000 dollars to the Transportation Fund! Thomas Santiago attended Mabuhay’s installation of its 1st Potentate of the Philippines, Ill. Pablo Ko. It was truly a Historic day, not only for the Mabuhay Temple but the Nation of The Philippines.
