On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Aloha Shriners hosted their highly anticipated Fall Ceremonial in Yokohama, Japan. This special event brought together Shriners and Masons from across Japan in a display of unity, fellowship, and shared values. The event was a proud moment for all involved, as it marked a continued step forward for the Aloha Shriners and the Shriners International organization in Japan.
Illustrious Dino Fernandez, Potentate of the Aloha Shriners, along with Illustrious Marc Rubenstein, Past Potentate, took center stage as they officiated the constitution of the new Tenjin Unit. This new unit, based in Japan, will focus on promoting education and fellowship among the Nobles, fostering a stronger connection between Shriners across the region.
A special acknowledgment goes to Noble Taiki Ogawa and Noble Ranier Vincent F. Dy for their tireless efforts and dedication in ensuring the success of the Fall Ceremonial. Their leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to the cause played a pivotal role in making this day a memorable and impactful experience for all who attended.
This ceremonial event was not just about welcoming new members into the Aloha Shriners and Shriners International; it was also a time to reinforce the core principles of brotherhood, philanthropy, and service that bind us together as Shriners. The spirit of camaraderie was evident throughout the day, as Nobles from different regions gathered to support one another and celebrate the continued growth of the fraternity in Japan.
As the Aloha Shriners continue to expand their reach and strengthen their bonds with Nobles across the globe, the Fall Ceremonial in Yokohama will be remembered as a milestone in their journey. Congratulations to all the new members, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. The future looks bright for the Aloha Shriners as we move forward, united in our mission of fun, fellowship, family, and philanthropy throughout the Pacific.
