We’re thrilled to announce that the Aloha Shriners and Shriners Children’s Hawaii were recently honored with the Dr. José Rizal Legacy Award for Peace and Social Justice. This distinguished award, presented by the Knights of Rizal, celebrates individuals and organizations who embody the ideals of José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, who devoted his life to advocating for peace, social justice, and positive change.

The Knights of Rizal, an Order of Chivalry founded with the support of the Philippine Congress through a legislative charter, is dedicated to preserving Rizal’s legacy. By bestowing this prestigious honor, they recognize the Aloha Shriners’ commitment to service, compassion, and community impact—values that Rizal himself championed.
