Aloha Shriners Shine in the Spotlight: Winter 2024 Shriner Magazine Features

The Aloha Shriners have made waves this season, earning a proud feature in the Winter 2024 issue of Shriner Magazine. Their participation in the 76th Annual Aloha Festivals Floral Parade is celebrated on the cover, showcasing a vibrant photograph of Aloha Shriners alongside Shriners Children’s Hawaii staff, patients, and families. This heartwarming image captures the essence of unity, joy, and cultural pride that defined the event.

As the grand finale to the month-long Aloha Festivals, the parade brought Hawaiian culture to life through stunning floral floats, traditional hula performances, and enchanting music, all winding through the beautiful streets of Waikīkī. The Aloha Shriners’ involvement highlights their dedication to celebrating and preserving the rich traditions of Hawaii while connecting with the community.

But the accolades don’t stop there! The Aloha Shriners are also featured in the Winter 2024 issue of Shriner Magazine in an article titled “Nights Out Pull Nobles In.” The piece spotlights Shriners International’s Project 3-5-7 initiative, designed to foster the growth of new clubs and units, and highlights the Maui Shrine Club’s innovative Order of the Inebriati unit. This unique group brings together Nobles from Maui with a shared passion for home brewing and fermenting, creating a space for camaraderie and creativity.

Noble Jonny Ryan, President of the Maui Shrine Club, shares how the Order of the Inebriati has brought renewed energy and positivity to the club and strengthened the Aloha Shriners as a whole. Their success demonstrates the power of collaboration and shared interests in building a vibrant, engaged membership.
