The Aloha Shriners recently gathered for their Annual Fall Ceremonial, held over Thanksgiving weekend — a tradition that continues to blend fellowship, service, and the true spirit of aloha. The multi-day celebration brought together Nobles, candidates, families, and friends for a weekend filled with purpose, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.
The festivities began on Friday evening as Nobles and candidates proudly marched in the renowned Waikīkī Holiday Parade, a beloved event that unites community organizations and marching bands from across the nation. Representing Aloha Shriners with pride, participants helped carry forward a legacy of visibility and community engagement in one of Hawaii’s most spirited holiday traditions.
After the parade, the brotherhood shifted to the shores of Waimānalo at the Shriners Beach Club. There, Nobles and candidates camped under the stars, sharing stories, laughter, and fellowship long into the night. For incoming Nobles, this proved to be an especially meaningful bonding experience, allowing them to connect with their class members and become part of the wider Shrine family in an informal and welcoming setting.
The following morning, the group awoke to the heart of the weekend’s purpose: the Fall Ceremonial. Against the backdrop of ocean breezes and sunlit sands, candidates experienced a beautifully conducted ceremonial session and an engaging education program — all while surrounded by the warmth and support of their fellow Nobles.
From community pride on Kalākaua Avenue to brotherhood on the beach and meaningful Masonic tradition at sunrise, this year’s Fall Ceremonial truly showcased what makes Aloha Shriners exceptional. It was a weekend of connection, purpose, and celebration — and a powerful welcome for the newest Nobles joining our mission of service.
