Aloha Shriners Strengthen American Samoa Patient Support with $65,000 Donation

The Aloha Shriners were honored to welcome Noble Archie Soliai from American Samoa during a recent visit that highlighted the true spirit of aloha, generosity, and the global reach of our mission. Illustrious Sir Chris Kaminaka, Potentate of Aloha Shriners; Illustrious Sir Marc Rubenstein, Past Potentate; and Noble Joseph Ernst, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Shriners Children’s Hawai‘i, met with Noble Archie as he presented an extraordinary gift — a $65,000 donation to directly support patient transportation for children from American Samoa.

This generous contribution was raised through the Annual Shriners Charity Golf Tournament in American Samoa, an event Noble Archie helps organize, promote, and champion year after year. The tournament has become a heartfelt tradition within the community, bringing together supporters who understand the vital importance of accessible medical care for children in need.

The funds will directly support the transportation of pediatric patients to and from American Samoa, ensuring they can receive the life-changing, world-class care provided at Shriners Children’s Hawai‘i. For many families, this support removes an overwhelming financial barrier and makes specialized care attainable.

The Aloha Shriners extend their deepest gratitude to Noble Archie, the golfers and sponsors in American Samoa, and everyone involved in making this contribution possible. Their dedication embodies what it means to serve children with compassion, dignity, and aloha.

This meaningful partnership continues to strengthen the bridge between American Samoa and Hawai‘i — a testament to how far love and service can travel when Shriners come together for a common purpose.
