Aloha Shriners Celebrate Past Potentates & Chief Rabban’s Night at Shriners Beach Club

On Saturday, November 16, 2024, the Aloha Shriners gathered for their Past Potentates’ and Chief Rabban’s Night at the picturesque Shriners Beach Club in Waimanalo. The intimate and meaningful event brought together members of the Aloha Shriners Divan, the Board of Governors of Shriners Children’s Hawaii, and both current and former members of these esteemed groups.

 

Among the notable attendees were Illustrious Sir Dino Fernandez, Past Potentates Lee Gordon, Mark Leo, and Michael Lopez, as well as Noble Chris Kaminaka, the 2024 Chief Rabban. The evening was a perfect blend of reflection, planning, and camaraderie.

 

Noble Chris Kaminaka took center stage to present his vision and plans for 2025, offering inspiring insights into the direction of the Aloha Shriners. His forward-looking address was met with enthusiasm by the nobility and leadership present.

 

Illustrious Sir Dino Fernandez shared his reflections on his time as Potentate, highlighting the accomplishments and cherished moments of his leadership. Similarly, Illustrious Sir Mark Leo, Chairman of the Board of Governors for Shriners Children’s Hawaii, shared thoughtful words about the challenges and successes experienced during his tenure.

 

Guests were treated to a delicious mixed-plate dinner, which set the stage for lively conversation and fellowship among the Nobles and their ladies. The warm setting of the Shriners Beach Club provided the perfect backdrop for the evening, fostering connections and celebrating the bonds that unite the Shriners community.

 

The Aloha Shriners Past Potentates’ and Chief Rabban’s Night is a cherished tradition, a time to honor past achievements while looking ahead to the future.
