Aloha Shriners Gather for the 123rd Annual Officer Installation at Shriners Beach Club

In the spirit of tradition, brotherhood, and the Aloha spirit, the Aloha Shriners, representing the Hawaii and Asia-Pacific chapter of Shriners International, recently convened for their 123rd Annual Installation of Officers. Held against the picturesque backdrop of the Shriners Beach Club in Waimanalo, Hawaii, this event marked a significant moment for the Nobles and their families. Led by an esteemed group of Past Potentates, the ceremony was a captivating blend of solemnity, camaraderie, and the rich history of the Aloha Shriners. Among the notable highlights was the participation of the historic Aloha Shriners Legion of Honor, adding an extra layer of prestige to the occasion.

The ceremony took a poignant turn as Illustrious Sir Marc Rubenstein, Potentate for 2023, delivered his farewell remarks. His tenure had been marked by dedication, compassion, and a commitment to the values that define Shriners. As the sun set behind the Ko’olau mountains, he passed the mantle of responsibility to Illustrious Sir Dino Fernandez, the Potentate for 2024. This symbolic transfer not only represented a change in leadership but also the strength and continuity of the Aloha Shriners’ legacy.

As the 123rd Annual Installation of Officers came to a close, it left behind memories of a night steeped in tradition, camaraderie, and the spirit of Aloha. The Aloha Shriners, with their rich history and commitment to Shriners Children’s—Hawaii, continue to stand as a beacon of compassion in the Hawaii and Asia-Pacific region.
