The Aloha Shriners recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Al Malaikah Shriners of Los Angeles to Hawaiʻi during their 2025 Potentate’s Cruise—a remarkable voyage that brought together Shrine leaders and Nobles from across the Western Shrine Association.

Led by Illustrious Dario Gamboa III, Potentate of Al Malaikah Shriners, the cruise united distinguished guests such as Eugene Hsu, Assistant Rabban of Ben Ali Shriners in Sacramento, and Carlos Lopez, High Priest & Prophet of Abou Saad Shriners in Panama and Latin America, along with officers and Nobles from several other temples.

Throughout their time in Hawaiʻi, visiting Nobles enjoyed a memorable itinerary that combined fellowship, service, and aloha spirit. Highlights included an inter-island cruise, a guided tour of Shriners Children’s Hawaiʻi, and a local potluck and beach day hosted by the Aloha Shriners—complete with food, friendship, and plenty of island hospitality.

The visit underscored the global reach and brotherhood of the Shrine, connecting Nobles from across the world through shared values of fellowship, fun, and philanthropy. The Aloha Shriners extend their heartfelt gratitude to Illustrious Sir Gamboa and all visiting Nobles for making this gathering a truly unforgettable celebration of unity and the Shriner spirit.
