Members of the Aloha Shriners recently participated in the Polynesian Bowl’s official player visit to Shriners Children’s Hawaiʻi, creating a memorable day for patients, families, and staff. The visit brought 80 of the nation’s top high school football players together with young patients for meaningful interactions filled with smiles, encouragement, and aloha.
The event was made even more special with the presence of Imperial Sir Brad Koehn, Imperial Potentate, and Imperial Sir Kenny Craven, Past Imperial Potentate, whose attendance highlighted the importance of the Shriners’ mission and its partnership with the Polynesian Bowl.
Players took time to connect with patients through conversation, photos, and autographs, offering inspiration and joy throughout the hospital. The visit reflected the shared values of service, leadership, and community that define both the Polynesian Bowl and the Shriners family.
Mahalo to the Polynesian Bowl athletes and Shriners Children’s Hawaiʻi for making this uplifting experience possible and for creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
