The Aloha Shriners welcome Illustrious Forrest, Potentate for Al Kader Shriners.  

They are coming to visit Hawaii and we'll be holding a "Pot Luck" at the Beach Club for them. Their group could be as many as 37 attendees.  

The Shriners of Al Kader have been very generous donors to our Patient Transportation Fund.

This is open to all Shriners and their families, casual /  beach attire, and please BYOB.

Ill. Marc Rubenstein will be conducting a free, open class for Nobles who'd like a better understanding of Temple Accounting and how financial statements work.

We'll give an introduction to the Income Statement, the Balance Sheet, and the General Ledger, and we'll walk through the most current Temple financial statements.  

All Nobles are welcome, ask as many questions as you'd like!

Marc has an undergraduate degree in Finance, an MBA, and 20+ years of Accounting and Finance experience. He is a Past Potentate and Emeritus Member of the Shriners Children's Hawai`i Board of Governors.

Walk in the 45th Annual "Salute to Youth" Parade!

Please wear your Pote Shirt or Red Shirt, black long pants, comfortable shoes, and your fez!

Staging
- Vehicles, please stage between 5:30-5:45pm on the makai (ocean) side lane on Kalakaua from Ala Moana to Olohana. 
Please do not block driveways. Per the city, the earliest vehicles are permitted to stage is 5:30pm.

- All other participants, please stage between 5:00-5:30pm at the Ainahau Triangle (2055 Kalia Road). If planning to rehearse prior to step off, please stage closer to 5:00pm.

Disbanding
Per the City and County’s requirements, the parade must continue past Kapahulu Ave to disband at Kapiolani Park.

- Vehicles, please turn left onto Monsarrat Ave and if needed, park along the street. Please do not block driveways or park illegally.

- All other participants must enter the park at the Kalakaua Avenue / Monsarrat split (along the sidewalk) and continue to the Waikiki Shell Parking Lot (to the left) to disband.

Parking
- Parking will be available at Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Shell Parking Lots 1 and 2, or on Monsarrat in designated parking stalls, but transportation between the park and staging area are not being provided. It is recommended to drop participants at 2055 Kalia Road before parking at Kapiolani Park.

-**Since road closures will begin at 530pm, with full closure of Kalakaua scheduled for 6pm, any vehicles dropping off participants and parking at Kapiolani Park may want to consider taking Kuhio to Kapiolani Park.
